The gazelle and the lion
Tough times don't last, but tough people do. Running allowed us to strive as a species, ironically , for many, running is still needed to survive. Such a love hate relationship. However the literal climbing of hills and clearing of obstacles, the empowerment and freedom of choice is reasoning enough to continue. Like a runner once said, " Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must out run the fastest lion or it will be killed. Every morning in Africa, a lion wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve. It doesn't matter whether you're the lion or the gazelle -when the sun comes up, you'd better be running
